Dental & vision

Round out your coverage with dental & vision.

Most adult health plans don't include routine dental or vision. Standalone plans fill that gap affordably — for cleanings, exams, glasses and bigger work like crowns. We'll help you compare.

Dental & vision

How dental & vision coverage works

ACA marketplace plans include pediatric dental and vision as essential benefits, but routine adult dental and vision usually aren't part of a medical plan. Standalone dental and vision policies fill that gap — typically covering preventive cleanings and exams at little or no cost, then a share of fillings, crowns, glasses and contacts.

These plans are inexpensive relative to what a single crown or pair of progressive lenses costs out of pocket, and they can be added any time of year — you don't have to wait for Open Enrollment. Networks matter here too, so we check that your dentist or eye doctor participates before you enroll.

We'll pair the right dental and vision coverage with your medical plan so the whole household is covered without paying for benefits you won't use.

Frequently asked

Questions, answered plainly.

Don't see yours? Call a licensed agent — most answers take under two minutes.

Can I buy dental or vision any time?

Yes. Standalone dental and vision plans aren't tied to the ACA Open Enrollment calendar, so you can enroll year-round and coverage can start soon after.

Do health plans already include dental and vision?

For children, ACA plans include pediatric dental and vision as essential benefits. For adults, routine dental and vision usually aren't covered by a medical plan, which is why standalone policies exist.

Does it cost anything to use Health Enrollment Center?

No. We're a licensed insurance agency paid by the carriers, not by you. The premium of any plan is identical whether you enroll through us or directly with the insurer — you just also get an agent who handles renewals and claims questions.

Is this HealthCare.gov or a government marketplace?

No. Health Enrollment Center is a brand operated by Sprinter Insurance Agency LLC, a private licensed insurance agency. We are not HealthCare.gov, not a state exchange, and not affiliated with any government agency. We help you enroll in marketplace plans when they're the best fit, and we also show private plans the marketplace doesn't carry.
