Not a government website. Health Enrollment Center is a licensed insurance agency operated by Sprinter Insurance Agency LLC — not HealthCare.gov and not affiliated with any government agency or marketplace.
Careers

Sell health insurance to people who asked to hear from you.

Health Enrollment Center is the consumer brand of Sprinter Insurance Agency LLC. We are an independent agency, so our agents quote across carriers instead of pushing one company’s lineup — and every lead is someone who filled out a form or picked up the phone.

The role

What the job actually is

You talk to people who are shopping for individual and family health coverage — the self-employed, people between jobs, early retirees bridging to Medicare, and families whose employer plan got too expensive. They come to you.

What you do all day

  • Take inbound calls and work web leads that came in minutes earlier.
  • Run quotes across ACA marketplace and private plans, apply any premium tax credit, and check that the client’s doctors and prescriptions are covered.
  • Enroll over the phone, then stay the client’s point of contact for renewals and plan changes.
  • Keep clean notes in the CRM — compliance is not optional in this business.

What we don’t ask you to do

  • No cold calling and no purchased aged-lead lists.
  • No door knocking, no buying your own leads, no paying for your own CRM.
  • No pretending to be a government marketplace. We say who we are on every call, and so will you.
Requirements

Who we are looking for

If you are already licensed

A resident life & health license in good standing is the only hard requirement. Prior ACA or under-65 experience helps, but agents who came from Medicare, P&C or life do fine — the products are different, the conversation is not.

If you are not licensed yet

Apply anyway. A resident life & health license is generally a pre-licensing course, a state exam, fingerprinting and a state fee, and most people finish in a few weeks. We will tell you exactly what your state requires and point you at the course. You cannot discuss or sell plans until the license and the carrier appointments are in hand — there is no way around that, and we will not ask you to work around it.

The traits that actually predict success here

  • You can sit with someone’s confusion instead of talking over it.
  • You are comfortable saying “the marketplace plan is the better deal for you” when it is.
  • You answer the phone quickly and follow up when you said you would.
Compensation

How agents are paid

Agent positions are commission-based, paid on the business you write and renewed for as long as your clients stay on the books. Carrier commission schedules vary by plan type and by state, and we will walk you through the actual numbers on the interview call rather than putting a headline figure on a web page.

We do not publish income claims. What any individual agent earns depends on the hours they work, the states they are licensed in, their close rate and how well their book persists — and anyone advertising a specific number to strangers on the internet is guessing.

Leads, the CRM, the dialer and E&O guidance are provided. You will never be asked to buy leads from us.

Do you hold a life & health insurance license?
Frequently asked

Questions, answered plainly.

Don't see yours? Call a licensed agent — most answers take under two minutes.

Do I need an insurance license to apply?

No. Apply either way and tell us on the form. If you are not licensed yet we will explain what your state requires. You cannot discuss specific plans with consumers until your license and carrier appointments are active.

Is this a salaried position?

Agent roles are commission-based. We do not publish income figures because what an individual agent earns depends on their hours, the states they are licensed in and their close rate. We go through the real carrier commission schedules on the interview call.

Do I have to buy my own leads?

No. Leads come from our own marketing — people who filled out a form on this site or called the number on it. We do not sell leads to our agents.

Is this remote?

Agents work by phone, and the specifics of scheduling and location are part of the interview conversation.

Will applying here put me on a marketing list?

No. The consent on the application form covers contacting you about the application and nothing else — recruiting contacts are kept out of our consumer marketing entirely. See the Privacy Policy.
